I think the first couple of times this part is played, james strums these basic chords below along
with kirk's distortion, im about 99% sure, and that is the way it looks like james is playing it in the video. also,it sounds real nice to me especially on acoustic and its a good alteration when playing this song by yourself.

Chorus: gtr 1 (both kirk and james play this part like this in the video and it doesnt sound bad with one guitar,
but for this part to sound great use two guitars.the one below it is sounds good too. but can be played with just
